Complex and thoughtful article on the historical failures of the left, explaining why the left believes that Islam is just another victim of western  warmongering and capitalism, rather than the Fascist ideology it really is. Surprise : The left also did not understand the true evil of  Hitler’s  National Socialism and therefore was completely ineffective in combating it.

The left is blinded by it’s own ideology and therefore cannot see the forest for the trees. It cannot  see what the real problems are and therefore cannot solve them.  Of course they cannot come from the neo-liberal right either , who believe that everything will be all right as long as they only look out for themselves and their cronies at the expense of the population.. The ineffectiveness of both sides ultimately gives birth to ugly hateful  Neo-nazi type movements..One can only hope that some people with half a brain have learned the lessons of history , but I’m not betting on it.
