A new generation of smart phones: Phonebloks
Now we generally don’t support commercial style campaigns, but this one is a little different.
It challenges and attempts to find a solution for the growing tide of electronic waste, It makes phones more repairable and customizable and it encourages phone developers to compete a little more for you support.
The concept is brilliant, a series of blocks you can just plug onto the back of a circuit board and there is your phone, with all the features you want, and if any break or become obsolete, just replace then in a few minutes.
An unwanted block can be on sold if still working, or be much easier to recycle if not working.

I think they need rounded corners on the phone somehow, but it looks really good.
The idea is trending like mad right now.
