We’ve only just begun
For all those who missed the 70’s and missed the Carpenters, I’ll quickly recap.
Karen Carpenter had a beautiful but very soft voice, had it not been for the microphone she would have never become famous.
Early in her career a music critic criticized her for being overweight, in reality she was not exactly overweight, but she took this to heart, sending her on a perilous and ultimately fatal series of eating disorders.
Karen’s voice was so heavily amplified you can actually her the moisture in her mouth, that’s amplification.
We take some lessons from Karen we ignore critics who generally know nothing useful and only serve their own interests.
Yes haters, we have only just begun. Hate that, go on we dare you.
