Dissent in Melbourne, wide spread and diverse

While walking through the city we stumbled into a group of older activists who have been through the wringer and are still fighting. Much respect guys. Protesting right outside the federal court in Melbourne, as many will remember from the occupation in flagstaff gardens of December 2011.

I’m a little worried that a royal commission will just be lawyers protecting lawyers, but nothing beats trying to raise awareness of the corruption in the first place.
