Enemies Of The State

On the 3rd October 2012 some of the Australian Wikileaks Supporters and Mildly Amusing Action Squad had a 3 hour sit-in at the American consulate in Melbourne to protest against the USA declaring Julian Assange an enemy of the state for revealing war crimes. We fear that we could all now be declared enemies of the USA for being Wikileaks supporters.

After peacefully protesting inside the consulate for 3 hours, sticking posters everywhere. putting banners on the ground and eating Yogo and pizza, we were asked to leave. When we refused, police began to play their ususal game of pull and drag. 2 people were briefly arrested, but released after 5 minutes. We were also protesting for the release of Bradley Manning who has been held for almost 3 years without a trial and for the safe return home of Julian Assange who is currently still waiting in the Ecuadorian embassy in London. Free Bradley Manning! Let Julian go! No More Blood for Oil!
