“The peoples of Islam will always be closer to us than, for example, France”
Karl Marx’s ideas
While trying to make the case that Gough Whitlam’s policy success are thanks to the Greens, (which did not exist at the time and Whitlam was never a member of) The greens have produce this rather shameful poster.
This really speaks volumes about the Greens, totally opportunistic, with gutter level morality and absolutely no sense of tact.
In this spirit of this shameful act on the memory of a man dead but not even buried yet, we put the shoe on the other fott and give to the greens another great progressive, Joe Hockey.
Most interestingly during the media frenzy around the passing of Whitlam there has been little mention of the constitutional crisis at the time of his sacking, because that would bring up the fact Australia has a constitution, and people might actually start asking questions about the limits of governmental powers it imposes. Fortunately the Greens will never attempt to claim credit for our work.
In response to China’s planned erosion of democratic electoral process in the SAR of Hong Kong (China proposing to only allow their approved candidates to stand for election), an occupation has begun.
The people republic of China has always held democratic reforms as being dangerous and unpalatable and to this day many Chinese residents are completely unaware of the Tienanmen square pro democracy protest from 1989 and the gruesome way in which it ended.
Many of the protesters have taken to wearing eye protection with some using a improvised saran wrap (AKA cling film/ glad wrap) as a ‘better than nothing’ protection from presumably noxious gasses that may be released by authorities to break up the protest.
These guys are smart they are going straight to the heart of the beast, threatening to disrupt banking and finance in Hong Kong.
Occupy Central appears to be under attack from police right now.
Huge number of ill informed people have been very excited about planetary temperatures recently. It’s surprising they care about something so much without knowing the basic facts about it.
So today’s temperatures is nothing remarkable, considering the last few thousand years there have been 5 significant warmer periods. There is even poetry from the medieval period lamenting about crop failure from climate cooling. They used to grow lots of grapes in England when it was warm there, so many streets are called ‘vine street’ no grape vines have grown there for hundreds of years. Look at the warming between 1600 and 1850, a long time before the large scale burning of oil, so clearly that wasn’t the cause. Since 1998 the world appears to have been cooling. If this doesn’t make sense, maybe you theory is wrong.
Those dinosaurs, gee its been getting colder since they died out, yeah for the last 60- 100 million years or so. In the 1970’s scientist were very concerned with a coming ice age, you can see why they might have been worried about future cooling if you consider this chart.
So there you have it, believe in a world a few thousand years old or billions of years old,
sudden heating caused by people is not likely nor realistic.
You can call it anything except what it actually is.
So when ISIS orders Australian based Muslim terrorists to kidnap and behead Australians while draped in an ISIS flag you just can’t say that is in any way related to anything Muslim or Islam.
Cultural Marxism and the deliberate dumbing down of people. Because if you can cultivate such cognitive dissonance and double think in people they either become incapable of independent analytical thought or worst still active participants in deceiving the rest of the population.
Why is the Australian Main Stream Media (MSM) so scared of saying Muslim, when negative events relating to Isalm occur?
Bendigo mosque wants to remove restrictions including opening hours, limits on political discussion and a cap on the number of worshipers.
Limiting political discussion in a mosque may be unconstitutional. Sorry I believe the Corneloup case set the precedent for the occupy case, the term burdening as not being interfering, but sure demand a double standard.
Liverpool, Sydney; mosque auctions ISIS flag for $2000. But they try to tell you they are not connected to terrorism.
Underwood, Brisbane; federal police raid Islamic bookstore, firearm seized, apparently a makeshift shooting range was inside. Nine other warrants executed in the Brisbane area.
Currumbin, Gold Coast; Mosque gets approval despite significant protest from locals.
Terror level close to being raised. I wonder why?
Its spooky when you create an example of the insanity of central planning by selecting a product at random and then explain how central planning would fail in managing supply of said product.
The real problem with central planning (a communist / Marxist economic paradigm) is that the real world is simply far to complex to model for a handful of bureaucrats. I used the example of vacuum cleaners and explained the insanity that ultimately you would need a minister for each product, of course each minister would need a salary and then attempt to manage production and supply of vacuum cleaners. Ultimately this is a fascist corporate monopoly and completely impossible to do.
After giving this example to a European tourist she mentioned that the European Union was about to ban the sale or importation of high powered vacuum cleaners.
This insane knee jerk reaction really made me laugh. I was imagining people hoarding vacuum cleaners soviet style. Then it actually happened.
So the next trip of why Marxism fails is this, why are there so many different types of vacuum cleaners? Because people have different needs.
You might find your eye drawn to the red out lined words “Pets 2000W”, some people have pets and need more power to remove animal hair form the floor.
So how is the minister of vacuum cleaners going to know what kind of vacuum cleaner the people want? Why would he care? Where is the additional motivation for the minister to innovate or increase the efficiency of production.
After you start asking yourself these questions, you will realize the impossibility of central planning.
So why the sudden hatred of high power vacuum cleaners?
Supposedly it is an energy efficiency measure. Strangely these bureaucrats failed to notice an important trend (because of course they have no incentive to care at all). Central planners refuse to think of people as individuals and would rather people fit tot he economic paradigm rather than the economic paradigm needing to fit the nature of people as individuals.
The important trend:
The decoupling of electric power consumption with GDP. These days it seem we are either using as much power as we could possibly desire, and/or able to more with the same energy consumption.
If you consider how much of the GDP is generated by computers (algo trading, software and data processing industry) and how much more efficient they have become in terms of teraflops per MW of the last few decades this chart make some sense.
Are you going to feel less or more comfortable at 23C than at 22C, there is even a limit to how fussy people want to be a about heating and cooling along with a greater focus on energy efficiency. It would seem the west has lost its appetite for electricity consumption.
So is it really going to make any sense to vacuum for twice as long with a 1000W vacuum cleaner, than once with a 200W vacuum cleaner? No and I would bet there is a sweet spot where energy is reduced and cleaning is maximized. So any way would you vacuum all day just for the sake of it,?well no. We are talking about a device that get used infrequently and for short periods of time.
I guess the minister of vacuum cleaners has to justify the high office he/she wants to hold.
I should admit now that I am a capitalist pig with two vacuum cleaners each of 1000W.
This man received serious head injuries as a result of being assaulted by a wanted criminal attempting to steal a hand gun.
Don’t let cognitive dissonance cloud your thinking
Don’t let the Marxist and thugs win the media war or allow the political sacrifice of a man trying to save his own life.
Here at occupy we saw real heavy handed unprovoked use of force by police. We were beaten, robbed, harassed and slandered. When did we resort to looting or violent assaults on the public, never. We know what real injustice looks like and we know a Marxist media hijack when we see one. The tactics are always the same. Ignore and/or suppress facts, manipulate opinion, make illogical, emotionally laden arguments, ad-hominem attacks on opponents and even on victims of serious crimes making a formal complaint.
Officer Wilson will possibly be partly blind in one eye for life, his opponents have always been willingly ‘one eyed’ for some time.
Pants up, Don’t loot.
