Rule by the very wealthy, similar to Oligarchy, we use this term to mean both things even though they are slightly different. In many cases it is difficult the determine if a system is oligarchy or plutocracy.

Commonwealth bank $100M loans Ponzi

They said it wasn’t happening here, it didn’t happen here. The truth was it was better covered up here.

And while Victoria Police corporation worked so hard to shut down Occupy Melbourne as a street protest the very reason we were protesting the dirty frauds committed by banks, Victoria Police corporation were investigating this fraud.

The bank heres received secret bail outs, and at least one bank has  been involved in propping up a Ponzi scheme and snatching the victims houses.

Worst of all was CBA (Commonwealth bank of Australia’s) response to the scam, get on board and  side with the scammer to steal the house.

Liberal party stench of corruption intensifies

abbotwifeabbottdaughter

I wish we could all ‘do the heavy lifting’ like Tony Abbott and his family are.

Dad bringing home 500,000 per year with a guaranteed superannuation of 200,000 per year plus perks, Daughter getting a full scholarship to university, Mum used to work for the Rothschild’s (masters of of the financial universe) bank. Gee they are doing it tough! Well they would be doing it tough if the average wage was 2 million per year, but its not. This greedy pig has his snout in every trough and is as corrupt as they come. He has the audacity to talk about doing things according to the constitution. Well Mr Abbott, the Australian constitution I have read clearly specifies the penalty for treason as being, death by hanging. What is does not specify is where the culprit is to be hanged from. Honestly, it’s looking more and more likely that Tony Abbott will be the first sitting Prime Minister of Australia to be hung for treason, and I suggest that if we can’t hang him by the scrotum we’ll hang him by his ankle…until dead.

Work for the dole: UK experiences and analysis

Poundland is a low cost retail chain in the UK. Workfare was the work for the dole scheme they had in the UK at the time.

You could say its way of reducing the minimum wage by stealth.

‘Tory’ is UK political slang meaning right wing corporate owned politicians. If you step back and look at the bigger picture you can see the agenda here. Hint: Germany made similar reforms in the mid 1930’s.

If a typical individual could learn how to do your job in two weeks or less, you are at serious risk.

Latest protester disguise tactics

In a disturbing  turn of events protesters are using elaborate disguises to attempt to appear to be normal members of the community. In a recent incident one man ejected from the glorious prime ministers hallowed chambers had disguised himself as  a priest and had even gone to the extraordinary lengths to have attended seminary school, graduated ,dedicated his life to God and even gained employment in a church and preached to congregations. Protesters are apparently pushing a radical political ideology called ‘Democracy’, which through bizarre convoluted legal smoke and mirrors, they are attempting to claim is part of the Australian political process.

We are seeing elaborate and desperate attempts to subvert the glorious 1000 year plan by the glorious twin visionaries of Abbott and Hockey. A purported man of God should not stoop to impersonating a priest for political means.

- Spsokeman for the Glorious Abbott-Hockey Empire

Priest ejected from Tony Abbots office. Tony Abbott has now also banned God. Members of the public are advised to stay at least 100 meters away from Tony Abbott during thunder storms as a safety precaution. Actually avoiding the horrid prick would have been good advice even before this development.

Australia 2014 copies New Zealand 1984

Guess what Australia, you are 30 years behind New Zealand!

A wave of shocked silence followed by jeers echos across the country…

Australians all angrily ask “What are we behind in?”

“Apart from Rugby Union and occasionally Netball we are not behind New Zealand!”

Only if it was so unimportant as sport, you might see whats really going on. You have been blinded by bread and circuses, or perhaps beer and footy.

Split Enz, from New Zealand in 1981, with a song written by Neil Finn, unfortunately history does repeat.

New Zealand, for decades, has been a social policy test tube for the western world. A small, largely isolated population that reeled from the Neo- con ‘shock doctrine’ of Chicago school economists.

Even more surprising was the fact that this hard core Neo-con agenda was run by the New Zealand’s Labour party, a political outfit more or less akin to the ALP in political ideology and electoral significance.

Well it would have been akin to the ALP, if it wasn’t for a few key individuals who drew inspiration from Thatcher and Regan who were in office at the time in UK and USA respectively.

Would  you like to look into a somewhat tame version of what is happening now in Australian Politics with the Abbott/Hockey budget?

Have a glance at these somewhat surreal crystal balls, telling you a potential future for Australia from New Zealand’s troubled past.

If you do not watch these films, you only have yourself to blame when further nasty surprises happen!

http://www.nzonscreen.com/title/someone-elses-country-1996

Its worth pointing out that despite this film being made more than 12 years after the neo- con ravage and upheaval in NZ, it was effectively banned from NZ television until 2003, nearly 20 years after the events it portrayed. You might ask why, and that’s the exact question the New Zealand Government didn’t want its citizens asking. Citizens who were now being treated as units of economic production.

http://www.nzonscreen.com/title/in-a-land-of-plenty-2002

Another film by the same director (Alistair Barry) about the same events from a slightly different and more enlightened perspective, explores how the Reserve Bank of New Zealand was behind many of the initiatives. Curiously the director said his main inspiration for making the movies was he had so much footage that simply made him angry, and he had to understand why it make him angry, and what was actually driving the economic and social carnage witnessed.

Both of the films heavily feature television archives, which many New Zealanders would have seen as part of news broadcasts at the time of the events, some clips appear in both films because of the significant to both stories and the political history described.

Split Enz I walk away; 1984,  from their last album.

Perhaps Split Enz saw the (economic) writing on the wall, splitting up in 1984 and temporarily moving to Los Angeles before morphing into ‘The Mullanes’ and finally ‘Crowded House’ and moving back ‘home’ to Australia.

The opening credits of this video sadly will not put to bed any lingering debate over whether Crowded House was Kiwi band or and Aussie band, as Hester had joined Split Enz before the remainder of Split Enz became ‘Crowded House’.

The best compromise to this sometimes confused friendly debate is best settled with this: Crowded House was a Melbourne band that formed in the USA from the remains of a New Zealand band.

Welcome to the confusion and dislocation of the shock doctrine and globalization.

And finally Crowded House ‘Weather with you’ from 1992. When the rapacious globalist corporations come, they bring the weather (and its not good weather).

If you don’t think it can happen here, this week should have been a wake up call, Chile was taken by surprise in 1973, as was New Zealand in 1984, will Australia wake up and get wise in 2014?

History does repeat.

What was once a purely New Zealand phenomenon can easily become completely ingrained in Australia, be it music or political ideology.

RIP Paul Hester

Herald Sun lies to public again

If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed.

If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed.

http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/victoria/occupy-melbourne-protesters-leave-1-million-legal-and-clean-up-bill/story-fni0fit3-1226909466322

I will attempt to identify all the lies and attempt to correct them, but it is as difficult task as the picture painted is so grossly distorted.

EXCLUSIVE: OCCUPY Melbourne protesters who shut down the city and vandalised buildings have left the public with a million-dollar bill in legal fees and clean-up and other costs.

1 (Vandalized buildings? Where is the evidence of this, chalk does not count.)

Documents obtained by the Herald Sun under Freedom of Information laws reveal the public cost of protesters suing the city council, police and the State Government in legal action that ultimately failed.

2 ( Occupy Melbourne never democratically voted to be represented by Fitzroy Legal Service:  Nick Carson ( a Greens Party stooge) simply announced this at a General assembly in the first week of Occupy Melbourne at City Square. Nick Carson should be held financially liable for the bills Fitzroy Legal has given to the taxpayer, he certainly attempted to profit from Occupy Melbourne and accepted no liability for his actions)

Lord Mayor Robert Doyle said he was outraged authorities had won in court, but the public still had to pay.

The City of Melbourne has paid over $554,000 to Hunt & Hunt Lawyers since 2011 after activists Sara Kerrison and James Muldoon sued, claiming the arrest and eviction of Occupy Melbourne protesters had been illegal.

3 (No one forced The City of Melbourne corporation to relentlessly harass Occupy Melbourne, who firmly believed they were acting within the law. It is also not reasonable to destroy other people’s property and then charge them for the clean- up costs. it is also not reasonable for a vexatious litigant to claim their victims are responsible for their extensive legal costs)

Council had to spend an extra $71,000 on emergency barricades and to clean up the area and remove graffiti.

4  (No one forced the illegal imprisonment of protesters or the locking up of City Square for more than a week. Similarly, no-one forced the wanton destruction of property by police)

Victoria Police’s legal bills are understood to be at least double the  council’s, raising the prospect that  the full bill to the public is well into seven figures.

5 (Victoria Police corporation, while acting illegally, have no right to demand their costs be met by the tax payer, furthermore no right even when acting according to statute, as they are a private corporation , not a legitimate branch of government)

When asked about the costs uncovered by the Herald Sun, Lord Mayor Robert Doyle said: “One, they took us to the Federal Court. Two, they lost.

“Three, costs were awarded against them with very little likelihood that they can pay.

“Four, the bill is $554,000 – that’s legal fees alone to the city. And they are now taking us to appeal.”

6 ( Starting a sentence with ‘And’ is pretty poor form for a professional ‘journalist’ )

The public had also footed the bill for the Occupy protesters’ failed court action.

Fitzroy Legal Service, The Human Rights Law Centre – both partly government-funded – and top barrister Ron Merkel, QC, took on the case.

7 (These parasitic incompetent law services all lined up ready to pilfer the public purse, offered poor advice, collapsed the case and then congratulated themselves on a job well done. Fitzroy Legal Service even received an award from City of Melbourne. Fitzroy Legal also attempted to steal computer equipment from Ocuppy Melboure and actually destroyed some video evidence they were entrusted with. )

Mr Muldoon and Ms Kerrison lost a Federal Court challenge last year after seeking to restrain the City of Melbourne from what they argued was unlawful conduct in regards to compliance notices issued by the council.

8 ( The extremely poor advice caused the loss of the case, the most fundamental constitutional principle,  section 109 was not mentioned. Mr Muldoon ( a law student ) who used his limited and self-serving involvement in Occupy Melbourne to then offer university law lectures on the topic, strangely was told he was not a representative of Occupy Melbourne at the last hearing, leaving Ms Kerrison effectively holding the bag. This was despite both litigants seeking and receiving the blessing from a public general assembly at Occupy Melbourne to represent Occupy Melbourne in federal court. In short Muldoon (a law student from a wealthy family) should be just as liable as Kerrison, but as usual the law society looks after its own )

The court backed the police arrests.

Ms Kerrison has now filed an appeal to the Full Federal Court. She faces a potential $1 million plus legal bill from Melbourne City Council, Victoria Police and the state if she loses that.

The Occupy Melbourne group, which was part of the worldwide Occupy movement, was issued with council penalty notices after it erected tents in the City Square and two CBD gardens in November 2011.

Police clashed with demonstrators when they arrested almost 100 people after ordering them to leave.

9 ( The arrests were illegal, as you have a right to protest, and Ms Kerrison is quite within her rights to appeal such a flawed decision)

Following a WikiLeaks protest at the US consulate in October 2012, Ms Kerrison was fined $1000 without conviction on three charges including hindering and resisting police and theft of police handcuffs.

10 (Victoria Police targeted Ms Kerrison for abuse since the initial tent monster incident in december 2011:  the very next day she was thrown to the asphalt when there was oncoming traffic. At the WikiLeaks protest she was snatched (from the arms of another protester) and abducted by the police for no reason, and dumped in St Kilda.  The handcuffs she was accused of stealing were the handcuffs on her wrists. Police were just too incompetent to realize she slipped them off her wrists and they had gone missing, because dumping abducted activists is a deniable operation and nothing gets written down. Kerrison could easily claim the handcuffs are evidence of a crime and hers to keep until the matter is resolved in court of law)

Melbourne city Councillor Richard Foster, describing the fees as substantial, said: “I would be very guarded on expending ourselves on further proceedings.”

11 (Richard Forster is well-known political opportunist, and former lawyer for a big bank, he campaigned on MCC transparency, and once elected pushed for more secrecy, good example of the people who Occupy are against)

Ratepayers Victoria president Jack Davis said once again the public was left to pay.

12 (Occupy Melbourne, to the best of my knowledge are not demanding public money, greedy incompetent lawyers are demanding money from the public and are using Occupy Melbourne as the scapegoat for their greed. Rate payers are reminded that if they vote for incompetent narcissistic fascists they deserve what they get, a nasty surprise)

christopher.gillett@news.com.au

Christopher Gillett has grossly misled the public with this heavily biased corporate press release.  It’s no surprise the Herald Sun is part of the Rupert Murdoch /Fox News propaganda empire.

Advice for Ms Kerrison:

Keep on appealing but you need to learn the legal principles that are being used against you. Be aware that the legal system is a façade and that the entire process is in commerce and for profit, sometimes simply wearing them down is the best solution. Be aware that the law society is the lawyers, police and judges all  working together to fleece the public and the court case is a minor squabble among them to decide which of them (not you) gets paid. These minor squabbles are seldom ever interrupted unless the public get too interested or offended by the blatant injustice. Remember the horribly brutalised protesters at the S11 protest still have received no compensation.

Justice is the last thing the justice system is about, look at the giant metal mural on the country court, a woman blind to reason with the scales of commerce tilted in her favour and propped up by and reliant on force, the sword as a walking cane, this should be a clue as to what occurs in the building.

Get real advice about the law not advice from slimy back stabbing lawyers who just see you as a walking pay check and totally disposable. Just like the way Muldoon sold you out behind your back.

5 step plan to remove Tony Abbott

Any one even vaguely aware of politics has this week heard of the federal budget. As almost everyone is saying ” Wow, I’m really gonna get screwed”. It seems to be the type of budget that hurts everyone and those already struggling the most. Even members of the former Howard  liberal government are calling it crazy.

It is a budget to fix a deficit that does not exist, to create a pretext to funnel more money to the corporate puppet masters.

Here at occupy we were telling you about the problem of corporate influence in politics years ago and this is exactly what we were warning you about.

This budget is treason pure and simple, fortunately the Australian Constitution gives us remedy.

Logic is the second casualty of war

warlogic

For ease of translation:

Man 1:

According to the map, this is the imaginary line which marks the property boundary between the oligarchs who own us.

So now we have to try to kill each other to change this line.

Of course neither of us have anything to gain from this and we risk death.

Man 2:

We would have to be insane to do that.

The Ukrainian upheaval: Some geopolitical perspectives

The Ukraine is becoming a complex and fast moving conflict with multiple factions having multiple agendas.

For the latest updates: https://twitter.com/EuromaidanPR

It seems that this conflict started as a proxy war between Russia/CIS  vs  EU/US, but additional home-grown factions soon saw their chance to enter the power vacuum. The Crimea has talked of independence so what you have is at least four factions.

Some might argue Russia is simply suffering from a bruised ego, but the conflict goes deeper than this. The former USSR states are attempting to for a new USSR called the CIS, a copy of the EU incorporating many of the former USSR states.  You might be wondering why Ukraine is so important to Russia and the CIS in this plan. The answer is of course petrochemicals, not oil per se this time, but rather gas pipelines.

The Gas

155206369

The Ukraine is strategically important have the majority of Russian gas pipelines to Europe, Without the Ukraine Russia has only one pipeline going  through  Belarus to deliver is gas to Europe. Giving Belarus a monopoly on gas delivery to Europe would make Belarus far too powerful for Russia’s liking, and far too powerful in a proposed CIS.

3060-700187

Russia is of course building other pipe lines to be less dependent on the Ukraine and Belarus, but these are massive projects and take significant time and resources to complete.

_44470431_russia_pipelines_416_1

The gas deals are of course very controversial, Yukanovych and Tymoshenko were both implicated in dirty deals and skimming money off gas deals with Russia, and most recently (2010) the controversial Ukrainian decision to allow Russian to keep its black sea fleet in port of Sevastapol, on the Crimean peninsula until 2042.

The Crimea

Crimea has wanted Independence from both Russia and the Ukraine for at least a decade. The Crimean Economy is largely based on the two navies stationed there, (the Ukrainian and Russian) the industries that support the Navies.  Tourism Is economically significant being a temperate ( and Russian speaking)  beach side resort for many people of the CIS. The Crimean does not want to risk bad relations with Russia and the CIS, as the tourism money would disappear.

While Russia has other land that borders the Black sea, they have had their navy stationed In Sevastopol since 1783, briefly forced out by the Germans in WW2, so naturally feel they belong there. Sevastapol is part of the Ukraine so the Ukrainian navy feel it should belong there. As a deep water port the Crimean has some interesting advantages, because of its island/peninsula arrangement the Navy can quite easily surround and defend its port from land based attack, This makes it a natural stronghold, not something any navy would want to give up. The black sea flows through the Dardanelles past Gallipoli (which we all should know about) into the Mediterranean (of importance to the EU) and then to the rest of the world’s oceans.

This of course leads to somewhat strange situation of two navies both being stationed in the same place, almost a naval cold war.

So what this is about is the politics of the middle man.

For the Gas pipelines Ukraine and particularly Kiev are able to set the price (and quantity) of Russian gas entering the EU. Controlling this flow of energy and money between two powerful economic blocs makes for significant political power and significant risk of corruption.

For whoever controls the Crimea and Sevastopol controls the black sea and its ability to deploy naval and military force in the region. Controlling a geopolitically significant deep water seaport is an extremely powerful tool in diplomacy. Russia wants to build a gas pipeline under the black sea so will need to control the black sea to assure the project and hardly want the additional expense of building a new naval port as well.

An independent Crimea would be unlikely to create a naval fleet of its own and would likely take the highest bid to station any interested party, which could be almost anyone, Turkey, US, EU, Iran… This could become a geopolitical lottery, or just Russian Roulette.

It’s not easy being an honest middle man.
